Educ8 Ltd evolved from the training arm of CCA Residential Homes Ltd; a large specialist Health & Social Care organisation that provided support for individuals with learning disabilities. In 1996, CCA Residential opened an Assessment Centre to provide the QCF qualification and Work Based training for its employees and soon developed a reputation for excellence across the entire Health and Social care sector. As Educ8’s reputation grew and demand for their training services increased, CEO, Colin Tucker decided to hive off the training division as a separate company and in 2004, the Educ8 brand was launched.
Today, the themes of excellence and quality remain synonymous with the Educ8 brand. However, although Health and Social Care training remains an important element of our day-to-day activities, we have diversified in order to remain sustainable and competitive in an ever-changing business environment and evolving Work Based Learning landscape. We now deliver a range of qualifications that respond to the needs of the Welsh economy and local labour markets, including; Child Care and Early Years, Team Leading and Management, Engineering and Food Manufacturing. In addition, we have developed an award-winning provision of employability training and recruitment solutions for over 400 customers.
With over 11 years’ experience in delivering high quality vocational training programmes and work placement opportunities we are proud of our track record for award-winning training, development and recruitment solutions. Educ8 is an energetic, dynamic and adaptable organisation that actively seeks out new opportunities for organisational development. Because of this, Work Based Learning now reflects just one strand of the ever-expanding and ambitious Educ8 Group.
