Business Development Manager
Department: Sales
Location: Ty Cynon
Responsible to: Sales Manager
Purpose of Job:
To maximise revenue from the generation of new business opportunities in your given territory by maintaining and increasing business from existing customers and through development of new clients. To establish and maintain a high standard of customer relations, service and goodwill at all times with all customers.
Liaise with:
Sales Manager, all sales staff, training co-ordinator, administration staff, accounts and Marketing.

6. Generic Responsibilities
1. Exploring the Labour Market
- Working closely with Head of Marketing gathering and evaluating Labour Market Intelligence
- Identify potential market/product development
2. Generating revenue through new business
- Advise Careers offices with up to date information of Educ8 products
- To be commercially aware of all opportunities/new business and changes within the Marketplace
3. Customer Service
- Liaise with all Careers Offices on a regular basis to build excellent relationships
- Liaise with REACT and other HQ to be aware of all changes to the projects
- Liaise with candidates through professional and accurate correspondence via direct mail, email and telephone for all training requirements
4. General Administrative Duties
- Co-ordinate Interviews with candidates and implement training plan
- Oversee accurate invoicing in accordance with WAG requirements
- Ensure deadlines for completion are met to specific timelines
- Liaise with Training Co-ordinator to implement training plans for candidates through course calendar
- Oversee accurate completion of all candidate paperwork
5. Quality
- Manage compliance and quality of all candidates files in accordance for WAG audit purposes

- Contribute to the development and monitoring of departmental budgets

- To maintain and actively engage in Continuous Professional Development
- To actively contribute to the achievement of the Business Plan, Self Assessment Report and Quality Development Plan
- To ensure all company Quality standards are maintained in line with specific requirements such as Investors in People, ISO 9001 and Environmental standards
