Head of Recruitment

Purpose: To co-ordinate and manage all operational aspects of the Recruitment Division through effective management of staff and resources to ensure that the divisional business plan objectives are achieved. You will be responsible for the delivery of the recruitment function in the UK and personally taking responsibility for the senior management and day to day running of the Recruitment Division and you will be key member of the Educ8 Group Senior Management team. The Senior Management team reports directly to the appropriate Director dependent upon function and all Directors form the Board of Directors for the Educ8 Group.

1. Operational Planning

  • Development and implementation of the Strategy and Business Plan for the Recruitment Division in line with the Group Strategy and Business Plan
  • Establishment of the Educ8 Recruitment Division
  • Provide the day to day management and running of the division
  • To develop, implement and review the annual sales / revenue plan
  • To actively identify areas for growth and diversification ensuring that LMI is gathered effectively
  • Recruitment and Management of divisional staff
  • To participate quarterly strategic reviews with the senior management team evaluating business performance and progress against current strategy

2. Commercial Business

  • To ensure that all commercial targets are achieved on an annual basis
  • To achieve Performance and Revenue targets for the division in line with Group Business Plans and expectations
  • To establish strong, effective and efficient working relationships across all of the divisions within the group as a part of the Senior Management team
  • Develop strong relationships with necessary customers, stakeholders and partners to provide recruitment solutions
  • To ensure that the recruitment sales / revenue targets are achieved on a monthly basis and sales are in accordance with the business plan requirements
  • To identify other commercial opportunities for other parts of the Educ8 Group such as Training and Consultancy
  • To ensure that all commercial procedures and processes are implemented and effectively evaluated
  • To ensure that the recruitment business responds positively to economic changes and meets the demands for future recruitment needs within the economy

3. Management Reporting and Compliance

  • To ensure that monthly management reports, including the Sales / Revenue Spreadsheet are prepared on time and accurately reflect the monthly progress against plan
  • To ensure that Key Performance Indicators for the Recruitment Division are monitored and prepared on a monthly basis
  • To attend all Board and Management meetings on a regular basis as and when required

4. Quality

  • To actively contribute to the achievement of the Business Plan, Self Assessment Report and Quality Development Plan
  • To ensure all company Quality standards are maintained in line with specific requirements such as Investors in People, ISO 9001 and Environmental standards

5. Generic Responsibilities
