Health & Social Care Assessor

As a result of continued growth within the Health and Social Care team, Educ8 is seeking to expand the team to meet customers needs. Reporting to a Team Manager, this individual will have experience within a Health and Social Care setting and in delivering of vocational learning programmes. Preferably A1 qualified with a passion for training and a total committment to quality.

Purpose: To maximise contract achievement and continuously improve the quality of learning through effective performance management and an enthusiasm and drive for excellence .

1.         WAG Contract
  • Maximisation of WAG contract through consistent achievement of profiles and targets
  • Achieve monthly targeted starts
  • Achieve monthly targeted outcomes

2.         Delivery

  • Maintaining and replenishing Learner applications
  • Maintain required caseload and ensure monthly learner visits are completed
  • Work in line with learner delivery model and update tracking records accordingly
  • Ensure learners are completing frameworks and ILP’s within agreed timescale
  • Undertake monthly learner pack audits ensuring < 5% error rate

3.          Quality and Continuous Improvement

  • Attend administration days and address any action points
  • Ensure learning meets all learners individual and support needs
  • Monthly on programme verification in accordance with sampling strategy
  • Submission of portfolios to achieve Estyn grades 2 and above  

4.         Learning and Growth 

  • Maintain occupational competencies by attending informal/formal training
  • Ensure CPD is up to date and in line with sector requirements
  • Attend monthly one to one meetings with team managers & comply with the completion of all requested documentation

5.         Health and Safety

  • Carry out arranged Health & Safety visits, and in a timely manner
  • Completion of documentation with <5% error rate
  • Dealing with ongoing health and safety issues as and when they arise
