Independent Quality Audits

Quality audits and inspections are a regular feature within Health and Social Care and Childcare.

The annual report of the Care and Social Cares Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW) acknowledges that there has been improvements in the standards of care during the past 12 months however, recognises that ´there are too many cases where the consistent delivery of some of the basics of care and support is not adequate.´ The report also highlights that there is ´a widening gap between the good performers and poor performers.´
