Educ8 Staff Sing to Inspire
Educ8 Training has taken an innovative approach to staff training and boosting internal morale by combining professional techniques to foster a sense of team spirit with some good, old-fashioned fun!
Their campaign for fun in the workplace is just one step the organisation is taking towards their goal of becoming one of the Times Top 100 places to work by 2013.
Since enlisting the services of the fabulous ladies at Sing and Inspire in January 2010 to assist with their internal training, Educ8 staff have already produced their own hit-single CD (well it was a huge internal hit!)and performed a series of in-house commercials based around their newly developed Company Values. Without going into too much detail, this involved one key male member of staff sporting a pair of rather tight hot pants, a pink top and a very glamorous wig whilst delivering a very important message about one of their most important company values- Honesty!
Educ8 will continue to focus on the all-important theme of fun for the remainder of their staff information days- known internally as Gr8 Days. Company Director Mark Woods commented on their effectiveness: ‘As a company we have doubled in size and turnover in just one year. Such rapid and substantial growth could never have been possible without the passion and dedication of our staff, holding these Gr8 Days provides us with a perfect opportunity to take a step back to acknowledge and appreciate all the hard work they’ve put in by taking a day out of the office for some serious fun. They also give employees a brilliant chance to mix with other staff members outside of their departments which is already improving the communication across the entire group and the sense of us working as a team.’
