National Vocational Qualifications Day 18-06-2010
Educ8 joins the VQ Day celebrations!
In recognition of National VQ Day (Vocational Qualifications Day) 2010 on Wednesday 23rd June, the National Training federation for Wales has organised a celebration for learners at the Pierhead Building in Cardiff Bay. The day kicks off with a presentation of awards by Leighton Andrews, Minister for Children, Education and Lifelong Learning who will recognise achievement in a variety of vocational qualifications.
This will be followed by a demonstration of various skills that are acquired in a range of different vocational learning routes. Educ8 Ltd has been selected to represent the Health and Social Care sector and we’ll be holding demonstrations on First Aid in the Workplace. We will be testing learners on their knowledge of First Aid using a resuscitation doll and offering prizes for the most talented participants at the event.
The day will be rounded off nicely with a speech by Deputy Minister for Science, Innovation and Skills, Lesley Griffiths.
