Responsible to: Centre Manager

Purpose: To develop, deliver and evaluate quality learning programmes, and support learners meet their individual needs, aspirations and goals.

1. Develop High Quality Training

  • Identify potential areas for growth and diversification
  • Create new courses in line with the employment Market
  • Utilise training opportunities and resources
  • Review and update courses
  • To carry out learner-centred initial, diagnostic, formative and summative assessment as appropriate that will inform the learning programme 
  • To draw up a negotiated learning programme that takes into account of the learners needs, abilities, lifestyle and interests, learning preferences, aspirations and plans, to include clear long, medium and short term learning goals that are realistic and achievable
  • To fulfil curriculum and accreditation requirements as appropriate.

2. Deliver High Quality Training

  • Maintain the strong brand name of Educ8 and promote the company services at all times
  • Plan and co-ordinate resources to ensure best and most efficient use, this includes resources and time.
  • Deliver structured training to standards of excellence
  • Provide professional and knowledgeable training to client
  • To deliver quality learning programme to take into account individual learner needs, abilities, lifestyle and interests, learning preferences, aspirations and plans, according to their individual needs, therefore fostering a good learning culture. 
  • To evaluate the teaching and learning to inform future planning for continuous quality improvement, ensuring learner involvement in the process. 
  • Achieve high results of evaluations from client
  • To use a variety of teaching methods and appropriate resources to enable learners to maximize their learning and develop confidence and the ability to learn independently and in a group.

3. Support Learners

  • Carryout initial and diagnostic assessments to identify individual learning needs
  • Develop and support learners with essential skill requirements
  • Actively support learners to source job opportunities and provide guidance for application completion
  • To give information, advice and guidance to learners as appropriate and encourage self development and progression
  • Be responsible for ensuring effective learners progress within the project, and orchestrate review meetings with other professionals for all learners
  • To ensure personal learning plans are in place and reviewed regularly for each learner
  • To promote a positive ethos, good behaviour and attendance for all learners within the programme

4. Administration and Work Setting

  • Ensure all administrative documentation and records are fully and accurately completed in line with company and external organisations
  • Provide professional quality course notes and resources with Educ8 branding
  • Ensure learner files are kept up to date and tracked as required inline with verification requirements
  • To keep up-to-date with subject knowledge and other issues relevant to area of work. 
  • To keep up-to-date attendance records, regular monitor and review of learner progress, and other documentation as required to meet the contract requirements

5. Teamwork

  • Maintain & develop positive relationships with all internal and external customers
  • Provide information and support to other team members
  • Work with the Skillbuild team to ensure the training centre is clean, safe and secure at all times
  • Attend skillbuild internal and external meeting when required

6. Generic Responsibilities
