An independent advocate acts as a voice for others, supporting them to make decisions about, and empower, their lives. This qualification is designed for individuals who advocate for others, either in a statutory or non-statutory role

Examples of job roles: Advocacy Services Manager (services for adults), Advocacy services manager (services for children and young people), Independent advocate (adults), Independent advocate (children and young people), Independent mental health advocate, Independent mental capacity advocate.

Those learners studying the Advocacy Apprenticeship will learn the key skills needed to better support their clients and advance their careers.

What you'll learn

The IndependentAdvocacy qualification has three optional pathways, allowing you to become the subject matter expert in your chosen field:·

  • Independent Mental health advocacy
  • Independent Advocacy with adults
  • Independent Advocacy with Children and Young People

 All apprentices will be supported by their very own, one to one, Trainer Coach

Results after course completion

You will receive a certificate as proof of your newly gained qualification and will be invited to attend Educ8’s Gradu8 ceremony, where you will get the chance to celebrate your fantastic achievement!

What is Independent Advocacy Level 4?
