What is the Level 4 Advice & Guidance?
Educ8’s Advice & Guidance apprenticeship aims for learners to raise the standard of support provided to people in need. The aim is to encourage learners to value continued learning by developing their skills in the workplace as well as open further career opportunities and professional development.
The qualification is created in line with the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 and has a focus on reflective practice and client autonomy. Units that cover sector relevant legislation ensure that learners have up to date knowledge of the law as it pertains to their role. Reflective practice units include the study of Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy ofNeeds, Carl Rogers Person-Centred Approach and his three Core Conditions, Gibb’s Model of Reflection, Kolb’s Learning Cycle.
The Level 4 Advice and Guidance apprenticeship is tailored to individuals who are already in a job role where they need to provide information, advice and guidance services to their clients. This national recognised qualification is perfect for any individual who manages a caseload.
