Congratulations to the Wales Care Awards Winners!
Educ8 would like to congratulate the below individuals who recently won at the Wales Care Awards. These learners have either previously completed or are currently completing a qualification with Educ8 and we are delighted to celebrate their achievements at the awards:
- Jordan Probert who works for Sense Cymru won Bronze in the Promoting Fulfilled Lives Award category.
- Sion Page from Integra Community Living Options won Silver for the Commitment to Training and Workforce Development Award.
- Stuart Davies from Pobl won Silver for the Leadership and Management in Residential Care Services Award.
The Wales Care Awards is an annual event that took place on Friday 18th October at Cardiff City Hall. The awards are hosted by Care Forum Wales and are a chance to celebrate the excellent work across the Welsh care sector. Educ8 was proud to sponsor the Supported Living or Small Group Community Living Care Practitioner Award, and our warmest congratulations go to the award’s winners:
Gold – Rita Martin (Q-Care Ltd)
Silver – Helen Grimston (Catref Ni)
Bronze – Alison Amos (Catref Ni)
In addition, following her success Alison Amos was recently profiled on www.deeside.com, which celebrated her work supporting four adults living together with assorted challenges and learning difficulties. Without her dedication and care it would likely not be possible for these four to take the brave step of moving into their shared home, and her story is one echoed across all the winners and nominees at the Wales Cars Awards – we take our hats off to you all.
