Educ8 Celebr8 Apprenticeship Week

Apprenticeship Week took place between 3-7 February 2020 and it was part of a national campaign to increase the awareness of what apprenticeships are and what benefits they can bring to your business. Educ8 decided to hold a working lunch on the 6th February at the well-known restaurant of Marco Pierre White in central Cardiff.

The event was attended by businesses who do not currently engage with apprenticeships with Educ8 and the aim was to help increase awareness of the services Educ8 offer. There were a variety of different companies who attended from estate agents to accountants.

Before the event officially began there were a few short speeches. Our Sales Director, Tim Barnett spoke about the importance of work-based learning as well as some background on who Educ8 are as a company.

Tim Barnett said, “Whether your wish to bring new blood into your organisation by filling an open vacancy, or upskill your existing staff, the Apprenticeship program is an extremely effective way to build the skillset your organisation needs to achieve its objectives.”

We were also delighted to have Rayner Davies from A&R Cleaning speak about her own perspective as a learner herself with Educ8. Rayner spoke about the learner benefits that you receive with Educ8 and how she has grown and transformed her own businesses with the help of apprenticeships to increase the skill set of her workforce.
