Meet our new Customer Account Manager, Nicola Ford
We caught up with our new Customer Account Manager, Nicola Ford, to find out a bit more about her experience and what she’s most looking forward to getting stuck into in her new role.
Q: Can you tell us a bit about your background?
A: I have over 17 years’ experience in sales, account management and customer service, I feel I am perfect for this role as I pride myself on my excellent customer service background and find it easy to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike. I have previously worked as a telesales executive for a large ventilation company and as a field sales executive for Newsquest, managing accounts and selling onto 4-5 different platforms.
Q:What attracted you to Educ8?
A: What I love about Educ8 and the business are the company values that they uphold to, and the wide range of Apprenticeships and support on offer.
Q:What do you feel you can bring to the work-based learning sector?
A: Unfortunately, due to the pandemic my previous role of telesales was no longer required, so I had to transfer my skills to another part of the company, I found this challenging but confidently adapted due to my experience and flexibility. I feel this experience has really allowed me to seethe benefits of adaption and upskilling.
Q: Can you tell us a bit about what you like to so in your spare time?
A: Pre-pandemic my hobbies included, aqua aerobics and swimming which I hope to pick back up now the leisure centre has reopened.
Q:Are you excited about joining Educ8?
A:I was very excited to join Educ8 as the company I previously worked for had many employees who had either completed or were currently working towards qualifications with Educ8. Educ8’s reputation is excellent, both in its caring for of learners and staff and in the quality of its service delivery. What excited me the most was being part of a Best Companies accredited employer.
