The 2019 Leading Wales Awards is a celebration of personal achievement in outstanding leadership across Wales – a subject that is very close to our hearts here at Educ8, and exemplified by our own CEO, Grant Santos, picking up the Leader Of The Year award at 2019’s Sunday Times ‘Best Small Companies To Work For’.
As such, we’ve signed up as a sponsor for the Leading Wales Awards, supporting the ‘Leadership for the Future (Sustainability)’ category which seeks to recognise individuals from all sectors (public, private, voluntary or social enterprise) whose leadership is impacting significantly on contributing to sustainability both within and beyond their organisation.
Grant commented: “We’ve built a strong leadership team here at Educ8 because we realise it’s the only way to help people achieve the next steps in their careers and lives, and help organisations to become better equipped and more sustainable. That’s why we’re so keen to support the Leadership For The Future award, championing those that work to make our communities more sustainable.”
The awards will be launched at an event – “Daring to Lead™ in Wales” – on Tuesday April 9th at Cambria Business School in Northop; nominations will open that day, with relevant forms to be found here.
Barbara Chidgey of Learning Pathways Cymru added: “By sustainability we mean leadership which impacts positively on any or all of the goals relating to the well-being of our future generations in Wales: economic prosperity, greater resilience, a healthier Wales, a more equal Wales, cohesive communities, vibrant culture and Welsh language, the environment and hence a Wales that is globally responsible.”
