For 15 years now Educ8 has been helping people to develop their skills, achieve valuable qualifications and tackle new challenges head-on to improve the skill levels of communities across Wales and beyond.
The company celebrated in style at an anniversary bash at St David’s Hotel in Cardiff Bay where it treated staff, stakeholders and clients to a great evening which reflected back on its successes across the last 15 years.
The anniversary celebration coincided with both St David’s Day (at the St David’s hotel of all places!) and Best Companies Day, the national acknowledgement of all businesses involved in the Sunday Times Best Companies To Work For.
In 2019 Educ8 Group was announced as the 6th best employer in the Small Companies category (<250 staff) across the whole of the UK, placing it as the leading firm in Wales. The 15th anniversary ball actually followed one of the company’s regular ‘Gr8 Days’, a team building get-together where the Group communicates key information to its staff and teams mingle to learn more about all other areas of the business. It’s just one of many ways the company engages with its staff.
Chairman Colin Tucker commented: “I’d like to thank everyone for their participation in the Gr8 Day and also the celebration in the evening. It was great to catch up and spend time with everyone; once again thanks for all your efforts and hard work, it really is appreciated.”
Educ8 Group, which is headquartered in Ystrad Mynach, was founded in 2004 by its Chairman Colin Tucker and currently employs 185 staff across multiple offices in Wales and England.
