Congrats to our gradu8s!

On Friday 27thSeptember, our second Gradu8 event took place at Educ8 HQ in Tredomen, Ystrad Mynach. The day consisted of two ceremonies; morning and afternoon. Graduating learners from Educ8 and ISA Training were invited, along with two guests of their choice to attend the ceremony and celebration.

The ceremony was a great chance for learners to celebrate achieving their qualification with their family, friends and employers. Learners were greeted by the friendly face of their Trainer Coaches and to a reception of refreshments and bubbly. It was also a great opportunity to network with other learners who had completed similar qualifications.

Our Chairman, Colin Tucker spoke at our morning ceremony about the value of apprenticeships and the beliefs that have remained strong from the very foundation of Educ8. He also handed out scrolls to each learner along with Educ8’s CEO, Grant Santos. In the afternoon our guest speaker was Hefin David AM, who spoke about the importance of education and the value of work-based learning to the Welsh economy and its communities. After both ceremonies learners had a chance to have professional photographs taken in their cap and gown, along with their guests.

Hefin David AM explained “It was delightful to attend the awards ceremony that put vocational qualifications on an equal footing with academic qualifications. The graduation ceremony showcased the wide array of skills that can be developed through vocational education. Congratulations to everyone who took part”.
