A top ten ranking across the whole of the UK – what a night for Educ8 at the Sunday Times ‘Best Companies To Work For’ ceremony in London last night (20/02/19).
Educ8 ranked 6th in the ‘Best Small Company To Work For’ category across the whole of the UK, placing it higher than any other Welsh organisation in the national listing on the night. Based on the feedback received in staff surveys, businesses are ranked in accordance with everything from their recruitment and remuneration policies to workplace learning opportunities, staff engagement and overall working atmosphere – all things that Educ8 works hard to get right for its people.
Chairman Colin Tucker commented: “We’re nothing without our people, and their satisfaction means better results for our learners and their employers. We will continue to ensure our people are valued, listened to and shown the appreciation they thoroughly deserve.”
In addition, our CEO Grant Santos had his own achievements recognised with the Sunday Times Leader of the Year award. He added: “What a night, and what an honour! We’re all so proud to be ranked this highly among the UK’s very best employers and it’s great validation that the work we do to ensure our staff are happy, engaged and motivated really pays off.”
“I would like to congratulate Educ8 on their achievement,” commented Jonathan Austin, CEO and Founder of Best Companies, the organisation which administers the data gathering and ranking system employed by the Sunday Times’ awards. “Best Companies have been producing the Accreditation standard since 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the workplace. Organisations like Educ8 have continued to focus on their employees and have been rewarded with an engaged workforce who tell us that this is the best company to work for.”
