Completing an Apprenticeship in England

Apprenticeships have provided an essential role in ensuring that our economy thrives, and that people reach their full potential within the workplace.  Apprenticeships continue to be an incredibly popular choice for school leavers to more mature learners to develop the key knowledge, skills and behaviours that employers want.

 What is an Apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship allows you to combine work and study. The programme mixes both on-the-job training and off-the-job training which will hopefully give you the skills and knowledge to be successful in your chosen career or to progress onto further learning.  You will have the opportunity to earn while you learn, alongside experienced staff to develop job-specific skills.

Your programme of learning will depend on the role you are training for, these are approved and certified by the Institute of Apprenticeships.
