As a major Apprenticeships provider, we work hard to promote parity of esteem between traditional academia and vocational, work-based learning. We believe that Apprenticeships can have a hugely positive impact, not only on organisations, but on the Apprentices themselves, many of whom go on to have very rewarding careers. Let’s not forget that Sir Terry Matthews, Jamie Oliver and Sir Alex Ferguson (to name but a few) all kicked off their careers as Apprentices and they haven’t done too badly!
We consider it our role to provide relevant information, advice and guidance to pupils, parents and teachers so they all consider Apprenticeships as a viable career pathway and we have already partnered with many schools where we deliver mock interviews, careers advice and talks at assembles and parents’ evenings around the benefits of Apprenticeships. We even create Apprenticeship opportunities for upcoming school leavers to provide them with a progression plan when finishing school.
If you work for a school and are looking for a work-based learning partner to provide vocational progression routes for your pupils, please get in touch. We can support you and your pupils to access high quality Apprenticeship programmes in a wide range of routes. Don’t forget, Apprenticeships suit young people of all abilities, including your brightest talents who may be eligible for technical or higher-level Apprenticeships.
