At Educ8 Training, we help many businesses across Wales develop talent through high-quality, fully funded apprenticeships. The possibilities offered by apprenticeships are endless. For many employers, apprenticeships enable staff to gain practical skills while working in their roles, improve staff retention, and help businesses build motivated and loyal teams.
If you’re an employer in Wales looking to give your staff the opportunity to develop their skills and thrive within your teams, now is the perfect time to consider an apprenticeship.
Below is a step-by-step guide to help you get started, because when it comes to taking your business to the next level, progress begins with people.
Step 1: Get the guide
Head to our employer page to learn all about apprenticeships in Wales. You’ll also be able to download our free employer eBook, filled with everything you need to know, plus helpful FAQs and real employer case studies.
Step 2: Explore our courses
We offer a range of qualifications from Levels 2 to 5 that can be applied to many industries. Take the time to explore our apprenticeships page to see what course would be the best for your employees and business. Each course has a brochure available to download for free so you can get all the information you need.
Step 3: Speak to our team
If you’ve downloaded our employer eBook, a member of our friendly team will be in touch with you. You’re also welcome to contact us directly and let us know how many employees you’d like to onboard and which courses you’re interested in. If you have any questions, we’re always happy to help guide you in the right direction. Our team would be delighted to speak with you over the phone or visit your business for an in-person discussion about the next steps.
Step 4: Onboarding
Once you have decided which course to go forward with, we’ll help you with the onboarding process. We will make sure you are familiar with the apprenticeship framework and provide a training plan. Employees onboarded will also need to complete a Wales Essential Skills Toolkit (WEST) assessment to identify any support they may need.
Step 5: Watch the progress
Apprentices will have full access to our online learning portal, Moodle, and will regularly meet with their trainer coach for guidance and support throughout the course. The apprenticeship program comes at no cost to you, we simply ask that you provide hands-on experience to help them progress in their qualification, along with workplace supervision. Choosing to invest in apprenticeships is a smart business decision that provides both professional and personal growth for your employees, turning them into valuable assets for your company.
