Educ8 has proudly launched its new Employer Recognition Awards, celebrating the outstanding organisations that go above and beyond to support apprenticeships and learners. The awards were unveiled at this year’s Gradu8 ceremony, an event dedicated to honouring the achievements of learners and recognising the vital role employers play in their success.
These awards highlight one of the many ways Educ8 celebrates employer success. Strong employer partnerships are the cornerstone of apprenticeship programmes, and the Employer Recognition Awards shine a spotlight on those who exemplify best practice. By highlighting these achievements, Educ8 hopes to inspire more businesses to embrace apprenticeships and see first-hand the benefits of developing talent from within.
Nominations for the awards came in from across Educ8, with a judging panel carefully reviewing each submission against criteria including long-term commitment, learner attainment, and measurable impact on success.
This year, three employers were recognised:
- Employer of the Year – Transport for Wales
- Jobs Growth Wales+ Employer of the Year – Estyle by Kacie & Co
- Small Business Partner of the Year – Lara Johnson Lifestyle

Ann Nicholas, Customer Account Director at Educ8 Training, said:
‘We’re thrilled to recognise the employers who consistently go the extra mile for their learners. These awards showcase the real difference employers make, not just for apprentices, but for the wider community and industry.’
The launch of the new Employer Recognition Awards is just the beginning. Educ8 will continue to celebrate employer excellence, ensuring that the contribution of businesses of all sizes remains at the heart of apprenticeship success.
