Our Childcare qualifications are designed for those who require, and are looking to complete, the mandatory qualifications to work within the Childcare sector: whether you’re already working in the field or are keen to start your career.
Example job roles: The Children’s Care, Learning and Development Apprenticeship Framework is for people who work with children (and their families) in settings or services where the main purpose is care, learning and development e.g. • Daycare • Crèches • Childminders’ own homes • Extended schools • Pre-schools/ playgroups/ Cylchoedd Meithrin (Welsh medium playgroups) • Primary care • Community based services including Integrated Child Care Centres • Flying Start programmes
Our Childcare qualifications are suitable for those working within either a nursery or childcare setting or those who are a registered childminder.
Our Childcare Apprenticeships combines key elements - the‘Core’ which provides the theoretical knowledge key to working in the sector, followed by ‘Practice’ which will be assessed in the workplace.You’ll learn the foundational knowledge required to work within childcare and have the opportunity to specialise, or pursue your interests through the optional module choices you choose to make.
You will receive a certificate as proof of your newly gained qualification and will be invited to attend Educ8’s Gradu8 ceremony, where you will get the chance to celebrate your fantastic achievement!
