What is the Employer Incentive Scheme?
The Apprenticeship Employer Incentive offers financial support to recruit individual/s into employment.
Different incentives will apply depending on the learner’s age and contracted hours of employment. There are also incentives to recruit disabled learners and apprentices who have been made redundant.
The support is available for employees who have a contract of employment start date with the employer and an apprenticeship agreement between 01 August 2020 and 28 February 2021 (inclusive).
Eligible employers will be able to claim payments for a maximum of 10 apprentices. If an apprentice leaves after the 4 weeks have elapsed, this apprentice will still count against the maximum recruitment of 10 apprentices.
Funding values are based on different criteria which will range from £1000 to £3000. and aims to create hundreds and thousands of new, fully funded jobs across Wales.
