Watch Back: Using Social Media to Build a Personal Brand

Our Using Social Media to Build a Personal Brand webinar may have taken place last month, but the insights shared remain as relevant as ever. If you weren’t able to join us live, you can now watch the recording and discover practical tips for building an authentic and effective presence online.

At Educ8 Training, we believe webinars are more than simply sharing information. They provide an opportunity for people to connect with the individuals behind the organisation, hear real experiences, and gain valuable perspectives from those currently working and learning within the industries being discussed.

In many ways, webinars reflect personal branding itself. Both are built on authenticity, trust and the power of sharing genuine experiences. By bringing together employers, industry professionals and learners, webinars create conversations that help people better understand different career pathways and opportunities.

One of the highlights of the session was hearing directly from Evan Powell, a Social Media for Business Level 3 learner with Educ8 Training. Evan joined the webinar to share his perspective as someone currently working in the industry while developing his skills through an apprenticeship.

Having learners contribute to webinars is incredibly valuable. It allows attendees to hear first-hand experiences, ask questions, and gain insight from people who are actively applying their learning in the workplace. These real-world perspectives help bring career pathways to life and provide relatable examples for anyone considering a similar route.

“It was great to speak of my experiences both in my career as well as my current pathway with Educ8 Training. To shine a light on my position, especially during Adult Learners Week, was a great opportunity for myself and I hope that anyone considering an apprenticeship listen back and take some valuable insights from my own experiences as well as Angharad and Ben’s words too!” – Evan Powell

Since taking part in the webinar, Evan has also represented apprenticeships and Educ8 Training at the UK University & Apprenticeship Search event, speaking with prospective learners about the opportunities available through apprenticeships. His involvement in both the webinar and a major careers event highlights the confidence, industry knowledge and professional skills that learners can develop throughout their apprenticeship journey.

We’re proud to provide opportunities for learners to share their experiences, showcase their achievements and contribute to discussions that inspire others.
