After months of fundraising, teamwork, and community spirit, we are incredibly proud to announce that Educ8 Group has raised a fantastic £13,927.15 for Wales Air Ambulance.
When we first announced our partnership with Wales Air Ambulance, we set ourselves a goal to support a charity that provides advanced, life-saving emergency care across Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Throughout the year, colleagues from across Educ8 Group, which includes Educ8 Training, ISA Training, Aspire 2Be, and Haddon Training, came together to make a real difference.
From Halloween fundraising activities, Christmas raffles, bake sales, and step challenges, to growing moustaches for Movember and visiting the Wales Air Ambulance helipad to learn more about the vital work they do, every event helped bring our teams together behind a shared purpose. Our efforts culminated in a hugely successful Charity Golf Day at Whitchurch Golf Club, which alone raised an incredible £9,000 for the cause.
Together, these activities helped us reach the remarkable total of £13,927.15.
The partnership has given us the opportunity to see first-hand the impact Wales Air Ambulance has on communities across the country and understand the importance of ensuring this service remains available whenever and wherever it is needed.
Josh Rees, Senior Business Development Manager, for Educ8 Training, said:
‘This achievement is a testament to the generosity, enthusiasm, and commitment of everyone across Educ8 Group. From taking part in fundraising events to making donations and supporting colleagues, every contribution has helped us reach this incredible total. We are immensely proud to have supported Wales Air Ambulance and to have played a small part in helping them continue their life-saving work across Wales.’
Abi Pearce, Wales Air Ambulance Corporate Relationships Manager: “We are so grateful to the entire team EduC8 for their incredible support throughout our Charity partnership!
‘They have taken an active interest in the work of our lifesaving service, including spending time at our base in Cardiff and meeting our crew. We rely on our incredible supporters to help us raise the £13 million needed each year to keep our helicopters in the sky and rapid response vehicles on the road. When Educ8 Group set out on their fundraising journey they had a clear goal to raise as much as they could. It takes a lot of motivation and enthusiasm to achieve almost £14,000 – and everyone pitched in! They should all be very proud of their outstanding achievement; it will help save many lives. Diolch yn fawr.’
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising efforts throughout the year. Your generosity has helped us raise money for a charity that makes a life-saving difference every single day.
